Catherine Ann Hennessy

She was the devoted partner of Charlie and the loving mother of Chris (Natalie). Cathy adored spending time with her grandsons, Alec and Levon. She is survived by her beloved siblings, Ron, Rosemary (Fabrizio), Joan (Rick), and Jane, as well as her nephew and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary, and her siblings Joe and Sadie.

Born in Ontario, Canada, Cathy grew up in Massachusetts, and was a graduate of Quincy High School Class of 1969. She loved spending time with family and had many creative talents, including sewing, quilting, and painting, and she worked hard to create special projects for her friends and family. In her spare time, she also enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, and took care to check in with her family far and wide, including her cousins in Canada.

Cathy stayed active throughout her life, working for the State of South Carolina, caring for the elderly, and running a small crafting business alongside Charlie. She truly came alive when she moved to South Carolina and shone during her area trips, whether they were day trips or camping with Charlie, baseball games with the boys and her brother, or overnight trips with her sisters. A kind and thoughtful partner, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Cathy will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
