Born on October 3, 1954 in Eden, NC, he was the son of the late Clyde and Inez Williams.
Clyde was a 1972 graduate of John Motley Morehead High School and proudly served our country in the US Navy. He was an avid Ham radio operator, active member of Amateur Radio Club, and held the call sign W4YQY. He was formerly employed by Black and Decker, Asheboro, NC
He is survived by daughter; Holli Williams Chaney (Cory); grandchildren, Emily, Matthew, Drew, Meredith, Braden, Kaitlyn, Isabella, and Christian Chaney. Also left to cherish his memory, his love Mary Ferguson.
