David B. Bryan, 89, passed away August 11, 2020.
Born in Bourbon, Indiana, he was the son of the late Clifford and Jewel Crow Bryan. After the Army and serving in the Korean War, he served as a pastor for the United Pentecostal Church in Elwood, Indiana for sixteen years and was a minister for over fifty years. He has been a member of the First UPC in Conway, SC for the last thirty-six years.
David was a dedicated Minister, husband and father. He loved going to church, and spending time with his family. He was always kind to everyone and never met a stranger. He kept his faith in God, kindness, and infectious sense of humor until the very end.
David is survived by his son, Terry Bryan (Susan); daughters Trina Wood (Terry); Jan Tolonese (Mike); and Nicole Shockey; grandchildren Michael, Jason, Brian, Savannah, Sydney, Kristina, and David; and seven great-grandchildren.
He joins his wife, Virginia Rose, his parents, and four brothers in Heaven.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00pm on September 5, 2020, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Conway, SC. He will later be buried with his wife in Kokomo, Indiana.
