

David Edward Kulina, age 81, of Little River, South Carolina passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. He was born on February 26, 1943 in Clarksburg, West Virginia as the only child of John J. Kulina and Daisy Nicolette Kulina. David graduated from Washington Irving High School in 1961. He served in the United States Army from July 1966 - April 1968 in South Korea during the Vietnam era. Following his time spent in active duty, David went on to graduate from Fairmont State College in 1969.
Mr. Kulina is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Warner Kulina; sons, Alan Joseph Kulina, Michael Scott Kulina and wife Promise Rollison Kulina; along with his beloved cousin Ann Alexander and her family.
David was of the Christian faith and attended Oakwood Road Church of Christ in Fairmont, WV as well as Myrtle Beach Church of Christ in Myrtle Beach, SC. He enjoyed retirement with the love of his life, Linda, on the Carolina coast. Working for various branches of the federal government, David retired from the Army Corps of Engineers in 2002. His passions included gardening, biking and crossword puzzles. David also thoroughly enjoyed all things science fiction and supernatural. David will be deeply missed by his wife, family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Monday, July 8, 2024 at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory with a funeral service to immediately follow beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at West Virginia National Cemetery, 42 Veterans Memorial Ln, Grafton, WV 26354.
