David Carl Windt

David was the devoted husband of 35 years to Anillia Stamey Windt. Together, they shared a life marked by steady companionship and simple joys, especially time spent traveling and camping in North Myrtle Beach. After his retirement, he made his home in North Myrtle, South Carolina.

A dedicated NASCAR Racing fan, David was always cheering for the win of Dale Earnhardt. He also found deep enjoyment in building and flying remote control airplanes and drones, and in racing remote control cars—interests that reflected his patience, focus, and appreciation for the craft of making things work well.

He is survived by his loving wife, Anillia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

A private family memorial will be held graveside.
