My family moved to Roanoke VA. in 1974 and in 1976 we lived right around the corner from my cousin Debbie and my aunt Janet. I was 14 and she was 17 and I loved hanging out with her. I even had to be her "chaperone" on one date. We had been reconnecting through words w/ friends over the past year and my sisters and I were planning to go visit in coming months. I will miss my cuz.

RIP Debbie.She was a very sweet woman,she always had a smile on her face.If she saw you she always came and gave you a kiss and a good hug.She will be missed.I just saw her and she looked beautiful as always.😘🙏🙏

What a lovely soul heaven has gained. Debbie was truly a special person and a chosen sister. She will be missed. I feel my life was enhanced and blessed knowing her . Until we meet again. Keep smiling on us.

Joe and I are so sorry to hear of Debbie's passing.  Debbie & I served together with the St Mark's Knights of Columbus Auxliary for many years.  She and I had several things in common - including our birthdate of October 6th.  She will be greatly missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Frank and the rest of her family.

What can I say about Debbie.  I could talk all day & never have one negative thing to say.  She is my best friend and my sister in love.  We met, we clicked and the rest is history.  There are so many stories but this is the most recent.  I went up to Maryland to have some surgery in the beginning of December. Debbie said that she knew I would be tired but could I please stop past her house on my way home. You see. It was the day before her surgery and we hadn't seen each other.  I stopped and was disappointed that I couldn't get out and hug & kiss her as we always greeted each other but she was quarantining.  Turns out she wanted to give me my Christmas present. I waited until the next day to open my present, I'm not one that can wait until Christmas.  There was a cool t-shirt calling us soul sisters and a family tree bracelet.. This bracelet matched the necklace that Debbie had previously given me . I will be forever grateful that I stopped that day and that my last memories are of her throwing me kisses one after the other and mouthing I love you.  I love you Debbie & I already miss you.  Thank you for loving me.



I am truly sorry for your loss. As a Sister Columiette Debbie was just so kind and friendly. She always had such a big hello and welcoming smile. I enjoyed our conversations whenever I saw her. She was truly one very sweet lady. May she rest in the arms of the Lord.

We are so very sorry Cousin Frank for the loss of your beautiful Angel Debbie. She was such a shining light and everyone that met her experienced her love and kindness. Thank you for sharing her with us. We like to think she is up in Heaven with our Mom that loved her as much as she loved her favorite cousin Baby Cousin Francis. Our hearts and prayers will continue to be with you. We love you.

I don't have any pictures of Debbie, but I do have very vivid images of her in my mind's eye. I remember when I was elementary school-aged, eating Oreos in her kitchen in Bowie with Heather and Debbie - Debbie laughing uproariously at something funny Heather said. I remember her always being so, so kind to me whenever I was at her house, treating me like I was her own. I remember her holding my sleeping 6 month old son while visiting at my mother-in-law's home. I remember talking to her about what a gorgeous bride Heather was on her wedding day, and her shedding of tears of joy. Debbie was a beautiful person, inside and out, and I will always remember her kindness and caring.

Debbie was not just a Columbiette .She was a true  “Sister” to all of us and  will remain in our hearts and prayers  always.
Rest in the Angels arms dear friend until we see you again🙏❤️

God blessed me with the most amazing, wonderful, kind, beautiful, witty, caring, selfless sister anyone could ever have. Oh, how  I am going to miss our conversations so very much. She always knew the right words to say, no matter the situations. 
I am going to miss our jabs back & forth over our NFL rivalry. I can still hear her saying “so, how about your Boys now?” 

Debbie loved life. She loved people. She had the most infectious laugh. Her smile lit up any room. Her presence lit up even the darkest of places. She shined so bright while here on earth. She radiated of warmth & love. She was beautiful inside & out. She was angelic. She was my perfectly beautiful sister.
 My only comfort right  now is in knowing exactly where my sister is. God truly called home one of His very best.  
Soar high, my sweet sister. I love you & will miss you every single day of my life. 

Debbie embodied love. She loved completely and without judgement. She made so many of us feel like we were her own family. We will miss her so much.

I have the greatest Memory, not just a favorite.  Our Love started and continued to grow into the greatest of loves!  My Bride lives in my heart.  Every time  one of us left the other we pledge our love, "no matter what"  We truly continued to fall in love every second of every day and that will continue until we see each other again!
