Denise and I were friends, but even closer the last few months of her life. I called her my “Sister” which we would giggle about and she’d say “that is so special to me!! “ If there is one word I could describe Denise
would be “Joy”. Oh she had some very low days but we’d start to talk and she’d come round with that hardy joy filled laugh..she talked about her precious boys and that beautiful granddaughter of hers. Oh how she adored them and so proud of them. She also was sincere in her faith in Christ and Father God showed her such favor, so much that she’d say I really feel like He is with me! She told me she was ready to go and we had prayed together.. so Denise, I will see you in heaven my sweet sister !! Love ❤️ you!!

I was truly saddened this morning to learn of the passing of my dear friend "Dee". Also, I can imagine the the pain felt by her three sons, who she loved dearly, and I wish to express my heartfelt regret for their sudden loss. I only met Dee on August 19th, and something clicked between us right away when we were introduced by a mutual friend. Since then, we crammed a season of memories into less than six weeks over meals, going to the beach, driving, shopping, and getting her new townhouse ready. She introduced me to many of the fun things and places to eat around the MB area that I would never have visited alone. Every second spent with her absolutely enjoyable, including having more laughs per minute than with anyone I have ever known. That Denise cackle! I hope I was able to give her some happiness during a time when she really needed happiness. Her sons could not have had a better and more beautiful mother. We all will miss her dearly. ❤
p.s. she never wanted her picture taken, but I managed to sneak this one below when she wasn't looking. Broadway at the Beach on Sept 20.
