Denise D. Gore, 58, died suddenly at her home on August 2, 2018.

Born on November 7, 1959 in Mullins, SC, she was the daughter of the late Frances E. and Olivia Floyd Daniel.

Denise is survived by her husband, Albert C. Gore, Jr.; daughter Wendy Gore; sisters, Pamela Collins (Don), Karla Elliott (Marion); son-in-law, Bill Deaton; grandchildren, Cole, Taylor, Justin, Ashlyn, and Hailey; and great grandchildren, Kade and Ryker. She is predeceased by her daughter, Megan Gore Deaton.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Wednesday, August 8 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service at their residence in Tabor City, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, NC 28422.

I never had the honor of meeting you Denise, but your husband spoke of you often and adored you.
You will be greatly missed and as Allan said, AL’s work family and other friends he’s made here in Chesapeake will be here for your beloved husband.
