Diane H. Scott

went to be with her Lord and Savior

on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at her residence.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am

Thursday, July 14, 2016 at

Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

Inurnment will follow

in the church memorial gardens.

Diane was born in Salamanca, NY, daughter of

the late C. Edward and Janet Merow Hughes.

She was a member of

Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church

where she served most recently in the Gift Shop.

Diane was a loving daughter, sister, wife,

mother, grandmother and cherished friend

to all that knew her, but what most defined her

was her immense love of her family.

Diane was soft-spoken, kind and gentle;

always giving of her time and talents

serving God, her family, and countless others.

While her footprints on this earth were small,

the legacy she leaves behind is enormous.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years,

James “Jim” Scott; 2 sons, Mark (Heather) Scott

and Matthew (Tamra) Scott; daughter, Lori

(Tim) Cheuvront; brother, Tom (Carol) Hughes; 7 grandchildren, Eddy and McKenna Scott, Jacob and Paris Scott, and Joshua, Rachel, and Ryan Cheuvront.
