On July 25, 1969, Don married Constance “Connie” Erwin. Don was an engineer with the NY Department of Transportation. Following 35 years of dedicated service, he retired in 2004. After his retirement, he and Connie moved from Poughkeepsie, NY to Little River where they joined Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Don was also a member of the Knights of Columbus; assisted with the church Thanksgiving Dinner; and delivered Mobile Meals.
Don was an avid golfer and a forever Green Bay Packers fan. He and Connie enjoyed traveling and took several cross-country trips in their RV. They shared great memories throughout their 56 years of marriage.
In addition to Connie, Don is survived by his son, Kevin Faucher (Katie); daughter, Nicole Riordan (Brian); and four grandchildren, Patrick and Sean Riordan, and Tobias and Fiona Faucher. He is also survived by four brothers, Rene, Gilbert, Glen, and Keith Faucher as well as one sister, Anna Fulton. Don was preceded in death by two brothers, Aime and Joseph Faucher.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the church columbarium.
