Born on May 1, 1933 in Glen Cove, NY, he was the son of the late Walter and Florence Ruth Newman Green.
Mr. Green is survived by his wife of 64 years Sara Rossetti Green; son, Donald Joseph Green; two sisters, Shirley Graham and Enid Landers; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
