

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Teresa S. Sapp; children, Paul Sapp (Courtney); Michael Sapp (Brandy); grandchildren, Micah, Olivia, Ella, and Emma Kate Sapp; brother, David Sapp (Darcy); and sister-in-law, Kathy Sapp. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Johnny Sapp.
Donald was a devout Christian. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach, where he served as a deacon. Donald and Teresa were also very involved in their Sunday school class, Friends in Christ. He was a family man who loved a good laugh. Donald enjoyed every minute spent with friends and family, especially his beloved grandchildren. After a year and a half of battling illness, Donald was finally called home to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of North Myrtle Beach or The Gideons International.
