Born in New York, NY, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Elvira Cornicchia Rago.
Following numerous years of service in healthcare billing, Dora retired from Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. She worked for several years at Belk and the Carolina Opry. An active member of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Dora volunteered with the church as well as the Holy Trinity School. She also worked with Shallotte Assisted Living.
Surviving is her husband, Kenneth Olsen; sons, Patrick J. Bologna, Jr., Joseph Bologna (Toni); sister, Albina Orlando; three grandchildren, Patrick Joseph Bologna III, Sophia Tami-Marie Bologna and Tyler Scott. She is also survived by David Kullen and Walt Lupo, whom she loved like children.
Memorials may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Shriner’s Children Hospital.
