A 1959 graduate of Green Sea High School, Doris completed her college career with a degree in business. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children and great-grandchildren. Doris also enjoyed reading, painting ceramics and watching Hallmark movies. She loved listening to Elvis, Conway Twitty and Alan Jackson.
Surviving are her daughters, Kim Loyd (Joey), Karen H. Merritt; grandson Zachary B. Merritt; granddaughter Brittany Z. Graham (Eddie); great-grandchildren: Keilee Grace Graham, Ryder Lyn Bullard, Audrey Bella Graham, Greyson Oakley Graham, and Gregory Alan Graham.She is also survived by her sister Judy Kirby (Bill) and nieces, Tammy Ray and Nicole Rabon (Jack),
