Dorothy (Dottie) was a loving mother of three and grandmother of four. She worked as a bookkeeper, homemaker, and was amazing at all things arts and crafts. From plastic canvas tissue boxes, to counted cross-stitch wall hangings, to making Christmas ornaments in the school craft fair, she was constantly on the move.
She is predeceased by her mother and father; sister, Barbara Matra (Schettino); brother, Thomas ‘Skip’ Schettino; and son, Peter Gagnon. Dottie is survived by her husband Roger; daughter, Noelle (Brian) Shay; son, Philip (Valerie) Gagnon; grandchildren; Peter, Chloe, Caleb, and Eli; and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea in North Myrtle Beach, SC on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 11am.
