Edward Generoso Nare

Edward Generoso Nare who lived in Little River, SC, was born and raised in Scotia, NY in 1944. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ida Nare, and his sister, Dawne Rose Guidry. He leaves three daughters whom he dearly loved: Emily Sequeira, Nellie Shea Williams (Geoff), and Katie Nare (Jason Greco). He had 12 grandchildren who brought him great joy. He proudly helped raise his stepson, Devlin Barrett. He also leaves his stepchildren Christie Frachioni and Paul Morton. He was a dear friend of his first wife, Mary Brand, the mother of his children.

Edward loved his wife of over 30 years, Mary Kosloski Garrett, who was his best friend.

Ed loved cooking, hunting and boating. He and Mary spent a year traveling through the “great loop” and the Bahamas.

Edward’s varied career passions partially included leather working, city management and boating. He earned his Master’s Degree in City Planning.

The family wants to thank Tasha Damon with Arch Angels who cared for him every day with a loving smile and became a dear friend of Ed and Mary.

Memorials may be sent to the Little River Firehouse #2 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
