My Cousin Eddie - Ed was my Aunt Joan's first born Son. Aunt Joanie (DiVanno) Nicoletti was my Mother's (Gaetana DiVanno-Nylund) younger sister. My Mom and Ed's Mom were the oldest two and part of an eight Sibling gang of DiVanno children. As a kid, we spent many Christmas and other holidays together with the Nicoletti family. Sadly, as the years went by we grew older and started our own families; it was then I somewhat lost touch with Eddie. What I can say is remembering as kids how much Eddie LOVED Hockey, especially the N.Y. Rangers and then the N.J. Devils. I would like to send my deepest Condolences to Eddie's wife and family, his younger brothers Steven and Glenn and all Nicoletti and DiVanno relatives, friends and Loved Ones. Very saddened to hear of Ed’s passing. Ed and I worked together on many different occasions for Local 25. Ed was a stand-up guy with a great sense of humor and a pleasure to work with. My deepest condolences and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.  Sincerely, Daniel Pirone 


The last time I saw Eddie, was at his parents Eddie and Joans home in Little Ferry.
I was a child and so was he.
It was when Cassius Clay fought Sonny Liston and we watched the fight at his parents. 
I remember Eddie, Stephen, and Glenn and never forgot those years.
He was a distant cousin of mine and it’s so sad to hear of his passing . My sincere condolences to the rest of the family .

I am so sad to hear that my cousin Eddy has past away.  He was a kind person who had a big heart.  We all grew up together celebrating birthdays, Christmas , thanksgiving and easter.  There wasn't a holiday that we weren't together.  I will always remember his big smile and kind heart. We Nicoletti’s will miss him.  Love you cuz. ♥️♥️♥️

To my beautiful souled cousin. All I have are the greatest memories of you. You spent hours teaching me about stereos, how to buy a good one - to my parent's chagrin, lol, introduced me to rock and roll....the Stones, ACDC, Led Zeppelin.....we tooled around in that TR7 for hours. We went to movies, talked for hours. We played as kids, commiserated as teenagers. You took my best friend to the prom for me. You were, in short, one of the best cousins anyone could ask for. Your absence on this planet will reverberate through many hearts Eddie. May God protect that gentle soul of yours. It was so precious. 

I'm very happy we got back in touch last year. You were a foundational person in my earliest memories.  Cheers to an exceptional person who will be greatly missed. 

 We had many wonderful memories of growing up with Eddie and his brothers. Sharing holidays , running around in our Batman and robin outfits, birthday parties,  long talks.  And just hanging out having fun . We will miss you Eddie !!! May you Rest In Peace .  love you always
