

Born on September 2, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of the late Estanislao Quinones and Demensia “Nancy” Ocasio Rodriguez. He was the step-son of the late Edward C. Grell.
Mr. Quinones served his country proudly in the United States Air Force and the United States Navy Reserve. He attended USAF Military School, De Vry University and Cornell University. Ed retired from IBM Endicott, N.Y.
An avid bowler, he was the recipient of many bowling awards and belonged to several bowling organizations. He was a Master Bowling Instructor who taught many youngsters in the tri-city area of Endwell, Endicott, and Johnson City, N.Y. Ed was a loved and respected member of the Rivergate Community in Little River, SC and the Brunswick Senior Center, Calabash, NC, and also enjoyed playing golf.
Survivors include his loving companion, Theresa Ivan Shelton; sister, Elizabeth Sanchez; daughters, Nancy and Deborah Quinones; son, Antonio Quinones; nephew, Chevez Sanchez; nieces, Jennifer Romero Hoecker, Patricia and Lisa Grell; grandchildren, Brandi Quinones, Ashley Marie Keenan, Tanecia Quinones Ward, Savanna DePatie; great grandchildren, Calani Ward, Amiya Ward; and many wonderful cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Claudette Quinones, and brother, Charles A. Grell.
Services will be private with the family.
