With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Beth Callahan, who passed away on July 16th at the age of 63.
Born on February 24th, 1963 in Smithfield, North Carolina, Beth was the cherished daughter of William and Betty Sambleson.
She shared her life with her beloved husband, Michael Callahan, whose unwavering love and devotion remained a constant throughout the years. Together they built a life filled with memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew them.
Beth was the mother of Michael Nolan Callahan and William Logan Callahan. Family was an important part of her life's journey. She had a nurturing spirit that extended beyond her own family, often becoming a source of comfort, encouragement, and motherly guidance to friends, coworkers, and many who crossed her path. She had a way of making others feel welcome, and those fortunate enough to know her will remember the kindness and compassion she shared so freely.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Michael Callahan; her sons, Nolan (Courtney) and Logan; and her two granddaughters, Tatum, and Charley. She is also survived by her sister, Amy Sambleson and son, Wesley Sambleson.
She was preceded in death by William and Betty Talton.
Beth spent much of her life working in the hospitality industry, where she found joy in serving others and connecting with people. Over the years, she became a familiar face to many in the community, forming lasting friendships with coworkers, customers, and neighbors. She will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and the simple acts of kindness she shared with those she met along the way.
Those who knew Beth will remember her in their own ways and will carry with them the memories they shared throughout the years. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the life she lived and find comfort in the love of family, the support of friends, and the memories that time can never take away.
May she now find the peace and rest that every soul deserves, and may those who loved her find strength in one another as they remember her.
In accordance with her family's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held on July 25th from 1pm-5pm at the home of her son, Nolan Callahan, 1628 Sapphire Dr. Longs, SC 29568. We invite family and friends to join us for an afternoon of remembrance, shared stories, laughter, tears, and fellowship as we celebrate her life.
