Elizabeth C. “Liz” Morenc, 87, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 at home. Born in Woodlyn, NJ, she was a daughter of the late William and Marie Shute.

For 67 years, Liz, also known as Sis, was the devoted and faithful wife of Raymond Morenc. She was the loving mother of Raymond Morenc (Chris), Steven Morenc (Lisa), Renee Hart, and Marie Barker (Kyle). Liz was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. An avid reader, Liz volunteered at the local library. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and the beauty of the ocean.

In addition to her husband and children she is survived by grandchildren, Timothy Hart (Meghan), Eric Morenc, Taylor Morenc, Steven Morenc, Jacob Barker; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Harry, Walt and Jim Shute; sisters, Helen Harper and Catherine “Cass” Wade.

Memorials may be made to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 8, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Highway 901, Little River, SC. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
