Elliott B. Simmons, 75, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at his second home in Little River, SC. Born on March 6, 1950, in Brookline, Massachusetts, Elliott was a son of the late Alfred and Shirley Harrison Simmons.
He was a graduate of Milton High School, in Milton, MA, where he met Glenda Feldman. The two began dating in 1966 and married on October 27, 1974. A devoted husband for over 51 years, Elliott was a loving father as well as a proud grandfather.
In 2005, Elliott and Glenda moved to Boone, NC, and in June of 2006, they opened “Bellas in Banner Elk” a delectable Italian restaurant. Between the exquisite dining, the success of “Bellas in Banner Elk” and most importantly, Elliott’s charming personality, they opened a second restaurant, “Bella’s in Boone” in 2015. He was known for making jokes, enjoying cigars, and collecting “old things” and when he wasn’t working alongside Glenda, they enjoyed traveling and boating. Elliott could be found watching the A-team, an old Western, and any Boston sporting event.
Elliott and Glenda purchased their second home in Little River in 2009 and enjoyed time spent by the beach. Family was most important, and time together brought memories that will be forever treasured.
Surviving Elliott in addition to his wife Glenda are his sons, Craig Simmons (Nicole), Dana Simmons, and Evan Simmons. He is also survived by his grandson, Jameson Simmons. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Gail Pave.
