Frances L. Bertrand

Frances Leota Bertrand, age 70, of Longs, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Born in Prince William County, Virginia, on December 30, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Hilda Cooper.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of over 52 years, Leonel Bertrand; children, Charles Bertrand (Meredith), Erika Bertrand (Cory), Anthony Bertrand (Amanda); grandchildren, Taylor Bertrand, Charles Bertrand (Shawna), Michael Bertrand, Eliza Brown, Jacob Horn, Claire Horn, Hanna Moore (Scott), Haleigh Bertrand, Natalie Bertrand, Nicole Bertrand; great-grandchildren, Waylon Bertrand, Jamey Bertrand, Jayceon Williams; along with her brother, Ed Burbage.

A loving mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, Frances cherished each moment she spent with her beloved family and friends. Her and her husband were members of East Coast Harley Davidson and the Rolling Thunder South Carolina Chapter 3 and Virginia Chapter 3. Frances took a great deal of pride in her job as a special needs bus driver.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Interment will be held at a later date at Stafford Memorial Park in Stafford, Virginia.
