Born on April 26, 1959, in Queens, NY, Frank was a son of David and Lorraine Burling Clarke. He was a graduate of Suffolk Community College where he received his RN license. Frank practiced nursing at Mather Hospital (formerly John T. Mather Hospital) in New York until moving to South Carolina in 2021 when he began working for McLeod Seacoast Hospital. He was passionate about helping others and was a talented RN until his health forced his to an early retirement.
Although Frank did not serve our country in the armed forces, he was a patriot through and through. Always wanted the best for his country. One of the happiest and proudest moments of Frank’s life was in June of 2019, when his future wife, Ella Da Silva became an American Citizen. A joyous occasion as they wore their red, white and blue to celebrate along with smiles and tears of pride. They met in June of 2018 at Mather Hospital. He married Ella on February 22, 2023 and although their time as a married couple was short, the love they shared was eternal and will live on forever.
Frank and Ella decided to trade in the cold weather for sunshine and warmth on December 31, 2021. He was an avid golfer and South Carolina weather allowed for great golfing. He and his brother in law Brian enjoyed their many golf outings. When not on the course himself, he and Ella would sit on the back porch and enjoy watching those on the 9th hole. Frank also enjoyed baseball and was a New York Yankees Fan. His had a love for movies with his movie buddy Ella , A Bronx Tale, American Graffiti, Goodfellas and A Star is Born.
A fun loving and selfless son, husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend, Frank will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
