George Harley Roush III, age 81, passed away from complications of dementia on Friday, September 13, 2019 at his home in Myrtle Beach with his loving wife, JoAnne, by his side.
George was born in 1938 in Charleston, West Virginia to George Harley & Edith Roush. George went on to a successful 35 year career as a senior executive in production planning at the Owens-Illinois glass corporation. In 1961, he married JoAnne Hudson. In the end, dementia took away his memory but was unable to take away his spirit and positive disposition.
George is survived by his wife, JoAnne, and sons, George (Michelle) Roush of Toledo, Ohio, and Edward (YoonJeong) Roush of Durham, North Carolina. George is also survived by three grandsons, George, James, and Joseph and three granddaughters, Claire, Julie, and Ella.
