Georgia Ann Figel

A graduate of Philip Schuyler High in Albany, Georgia Ann remained in the Albany, Lake George, and Warrensburg area of New York. She worked as a successful bartender at The Steamboat Company in Lake George, which her grandchildren call the “Tootoot Boat” giving her the name “Tootoot” that she carried with honor.

Soon after her daughter and son-in-law bought their vacation home in Longs, Georgia Ann also decided to join them, buying in the same development. In 2018, she made Longs her home.

Surviving is her daughter, Sharron Bussanich (Luby); grandchildren, Kelly, Kristine, Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Leah, Charlee-Ann, Anderson, and Connor. She is also survived by three sisters, Emmie, Jackie, and Linda. Georgia Ann was preceded in death by her son, George Figel.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory.
