Gerald T. Fitzgerald jr. was born in Ossining, NY in November of 1950, son of Gerald sr. and Grace Fitzgerald. Upon graduation from Ossining High School, where he excelled in Track, he enlisted in the Air Force where he served in Vietnam. After returning home he married Ellen Lynch and had two children. He raised his family in Ossining, by working for a Sheet Metals Workers Union till 1999, when he relocated to the Carolinas. Finally settling in Little River, SC with Laura Martin, where he enjoyed playing Golf, Entertaining and playing his Guitar out by a fire. He passed, surrounded by his loved ones, on July 13th 2026; Leaving behind an indelible mark on all the lives he knew over the years.
He is survived by Laura, his brother James, and sister Patricia. His son Gerald T. Fitzgerald III, daughter Jennifer R. Fitzgerald and the light of his life granddaughter Samantha.
