Gerald L. Lance, 62, passed away on April 29, 2021.

From Brunswick County, NC, he was one of fourteen children born to the late Sam and Carriebell Griffin Lance.

Gerald enjoyed watching westerns, basketball and football. Gerald especially loved spending time outside and taking walks on the beach with his wife, Eletha. He worked as a machine operator for McLamb Construction.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Eletha Jackson Lance; his brother, Harry Bellamy; sisters Phyllis Bellamy; Carrie Lance; Julia Mae Williams (Joe); brother-in-law Randy Stanley; and sisters-in-law, Patience Lance and Delinda Lance; brother-in-law Pastor LoveGod Enyinna and his wife, Gloria; brother-in-law Glen Jackson and his wife, Brenda; brother-in-law Leon Jackson and his wife, Lee Annason; sister-in-law Erica Michelle Squires; and his mother-in-law, Rachel Jackson Squires. Gerald is predeceased by brothers Arthur Lance; James Lance; Willie Earl Lance; Samuel Lance; Edward Lance; and George Lance; sisters Georgia Bell Lance; Neomia Ash; and Sarah Stanley.

A funeral service will be at 1:00pm Friday, May 7, 2021, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel, located at 11840 Hwy. 90, Little River, SC. Visitation with family and friends will be immediately after the service. Covid protocol will be observed. The service will be live-streamed on the Lee Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page.
