

Gregor Shaw Mosley of North Myrtle Beach, SC passed away peacefully, after a battle with cancer on Sunday, November 16th, 2025. The sun was shining as he was welcomed into God’s Kingdom that morning. He was born on November 20, 1949 in Albany, NY, son of the late William Shaw and Valarie Patricia (Robins) Mosley of Delmar, NY. He was a retired member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local 40. He served in the US Army in the early 1970’s.
He was the loving husband and best friend of Melissa Mary Brown-Mosley and they recently celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary. He is also survived by his son, William Shaw Mosley of Austin, TX and daughter Sara Nicole Forino (Vincent) of Richmond Hill, GA, sister-in-law Cynthia Susan Brown-LaFleur (William); 3 grandchildren, Elijah Mosley, Emma Forino and Anthony Forino and a great grandson, Kelden Rowan Lekmon. He was pre-deceased by his brother Robin William Mosley and survived by a brother Kevin Scott Mosley of Lutz, FL, and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was a long time NASCAR fan, enjoying the action at Darlington, SC every Labor Day weekend for many years. His later years slowed to a golf game with his friends in New York before he moved to SC. Whether in NY or SC, he always enjoyed a “destination” walk which likely led him to an Irish Pub. Everyone enjoyed his baking skills.
A memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Hwy 90, with a visitation from 1:30 – 2:00 PM. Burial will take place TBA in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.

The family extends their sincere thanks to the staff at Grand Strand Hospital and Crescent Hospice for their final care and to all the friends and family who provided support though his long journey.
