

Henry “Hank” F. LaRosa, 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 13, 2024 with his loving family by his side. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Hank was the last surviving child of the late Frank and Bianca LaRosa. He was the devoted husband of the late JoAnn LaRosa.
Hank was drafted into the US Army at 22 years of age during the Korean War on January 10, 1952. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Hank became a successful businessman owning and operating Town and Country Carting Company.
Following a two year long-distance romance between New York and New Jersey, Hank married the love of his life, JoAnn in 1980. Together they created a beautiful blended family residing in Long Island, New York until his retirement in 1988 when they moved to Little River, SC.
Hank and JoAnn enjoyed cruising and had a winning hand in the casinos. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend and will be forever missed. Memories will be treasured and stories told for a lifetime.
Surviving are his children, Henry LaRosa, Jr. Bianca Kaufman (Alan), Aggie Hamm (Bruce) Emmy LaRosa, Frank LaRosa(Sherry), Lucienne Jobson (Tim), Cindy Poillon (Charles), John Hannigan (Deb), and Steven Hannigan (Beverly). Also surviving Hank are his 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
