James “Kevin” Jump, age 59, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026. Kevin was a man whose presence filled every room with warmth, humor, and genuine kindness. A gifted artist, he saw the world in color and possibility, and he shared that gift freely with everyone around him—especially children, who adored him for his creativity, patience, and playful spirit.
Kevin was a devoted family man who took pride in every role he held: son, husband, brother, father, grandfather, great‑grandfather, and friend. He had a rare ability to make anyone feel welcome, offering friendship easily and advice that came straight from the heart. His love for his family was steady and unwavering, and he poured that love into every moment he spent with them.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Angela Jump, with whom he shared a bond he often said was “written in the stars.” Their relationship was filled with laughter, playfulness, and a deep affection that everyone around them could feel. They were partners in every sense, lifting each other up and finding joy in the simplest moments together.
He is also survived by his parents, James Frederick Jump (born July 11, 1945 in Clayton, GA) and Carolyn Ann (Chastain) Jump (born March 14, 1947 in Clayton, GA); and his sisters, Lori (Jump) Bugner and Amy Jump‑Long (Chris Long).
He leaves behind a large and loving family who will forever carry his memory: Children and Grandchildren
