Jayne Steele

Jayne dedicated her life to helping people and animals. She taught many years as a 3rd grade teacher at St. Pius Catholic School. Her love for people and her laughter left a mark on everyone she met. She was a fashionista who had an outfit for every day.

Jayne was married 59 years to Col. Robert E. Steele, her loving partner in life, who predeceased her in death in 2018. Both were members of the VFW in Little River, SC after moving to North Myrtle Beach, SC. She was preceded in death by her best friend, Burk Goux. Survivors include her daughter Lori, her best friend Chico, grand bird Sky, and special friends Robert, Sabina, and John. She also had many friends and family all over the world.
