Born in Brewster, NY, Jeri was the youngest daughter of Betty Lowe Esposito and the late Jerry Esposito. Jeri graduated Brewster High School class of 1984.
Following high school, Jeri worked in administration with several construction companies. Eventually Jeri found what would be her calling and continued her education to become a Registered Nurse and later a Nurse Practitioner, consistently achieving high honors. She was dedicated to her profession and those she helped, making lifelong friends along the way.
On May 24, 1987, Jeri married James “Jim” Sugrue. The two shared over 36 years of marriage and made memories to cherish for lifetime. Following family “down south” the two recently made their home in Calabash, NC in 2022. Jeri loved the ocean breeze, the feel of the sun on her face and the smell of the sea air. The two were inseparable from the moment they met until her passing. Jeri is survived by her husband Jim, mother Betty as well as her sisters Linda Yannone and JoAnn Esposito, niece Corianna Yannone and nephews Dylan and Tyler Lantry.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory in Little River SC. followed by a Celebration of Life at Sugrue’s Pub & Eatery in North Myrtle Beach SC
