

Jerome built a long and respected career as a plumber, known for his strong work ethic, steady nature, and willingness to help others. Following his retirement, he discovered a passion for gardening and took great joy in tending to his plants and sharing the fruits of his labor with friends and family.
Jerome is survived by his loving wife Wanda of 59 years; his daughters, Tina Myers(Joe), and Cindy Register(Jeff); his granddaughter, Morgan Cole(Andy); great grandchildren Myers and Carter Cole; his brothers Larry and Jimmy Ward; and his side kick Catalack. He was preceded in death by his parents Donnie and Emma Ward and his brother Dennis Ward. He will be remembered with deep affection for his kindness, dedication, and the love he held for his family.
He will be dearly missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at Lee Funeral Home, located at 11840 Highway 90, Little River, South Carolina, on December 28, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place at the same location, beginning at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the Living Water Baptist Church Building Fund.
