Jo Ann Stone

Jo Ann Stone, 78, died June 27, 2020 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 11, 1942 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late William T. and Mabel Lou Barbee Beavers.

Mrs. Stone is survived by her children, John F. Stone, Jr. (Sandy Davis Stone) and Julie Ann Stone Page (Richard Page); sisters-in-law, Lottie Beavers and Joyce Cross; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Page, Ashley Page, John Stone, Jr., Matthew Stone (Jessie Belch Stone), Amanda Stone; one great granddaughter “on the way”, Olivia Regan Stone; her partner, James Parks; and her four-legged friends, Peaches and Max. She is predeceased by three brothers, William, Lester and Melvin, Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, July 2, 2020 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach, P.O. Box 3369, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.

Jo Ann it has been a blessing to have such a sweet, wonderful aunt. I remember when you taught me how to knit and crochet. I also remember the daisy afghan that we worked on together and won second prize in the fair. I will always have fond loving memories of you. Missing you.
