Joan D. Berkley

Joan Doll Berkley crossed over on August 08, 2020 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River, South Carolina.

Born June 22, 1959, she was the daughter of the late L. D. Berkley and Hattie Rea Berkley-Goff.

Joan is survived by two daughters, Kurtura Williams (husband Michael Williams), Samantha Jade Berkley; one granddaughter Mikaeshi Jade Williams; and four grandsons Michael Williams, Jeffrey Williams, Messiah Berkley, and Hunter Williams. She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Lee Berkley.

Joan was a fierce spirit who loved life and danced to the beat of her own drum. Over the years, Joan fought and won more than her share of medical battles; a warrior and a true champion. Her presence on this earth will be missed but the imprints she left on the hearts of her family and friends is everlasting.

In light of the current situation concerning COVID-19, no funeral or viewing will be held. A private memorial for immediate family will take place at an undisclosed location on Friday August 14, 2020.
