JR passed away surrounded by his soulmate of more than 52 years and loving family, while Elvis Presley’s music filled his room. Formally of Carolltown, PA– Joel had an abundance of friends and family who will
keep his memory alive.
Preceded in death, only one month prior, by his sweet companion, Zoe; loving parents, George and Mary Evelyn (Voelker) Colberg, and siblings, Faith, Kurt, Matthew, and James (Barbara). He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; children, Melanie, Peter (Kathy), Christopher, and Lynn; by grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Brayden, Gabrielle, Kierstyn, Nicholas, and son-in-law Ian Reddecliff; and by brothers, Jack (Judy), Mark (Kim), and Eric.
Joel enjoyed his days of flying, boating, fishing, and lounging on the beach with a cold Busch Light in hand, surrounded by friends and family. He will be missed by many.
