

John was born June 15th, 1956 in White Plains, New York where he spent his formative years. He attended Lakeland Senior High School and later became a restaurant owner, manager, chef, and then founded and operated his own beverage corporation. Throughout his endeavors, he was always known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for business.
But more than anything, John was a devoted father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time in his pool, sharing stories, and cooking for all that were around. He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement.
In his free time, John enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, playing the drums, and cooking delicious meals.
John is survived by his wife, Christine Lefont, his children Jill Entsminger(Justin), Ashley Gambelli, John Gambelli Jr., his grandchildren Aidan, Giuliana, Tamik, and Aniyah. He is also survived by his devoted siblings Pia Estabrook(Robbie), Phil Gambelli Jr.(Fran), Godmother Jo Cirilli, and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his wife Rose Gambelli(2007), his mother Santa Gambelli(1999), and father Phil Gambelli (2014).
A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 30th at Lee’s Funeral Home in Little River/North Myrtle Beach from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
The funeral mass will be held Thursday, October 31st at 2:00 pm at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
