John "Tim" McMorrow , age 72 was born in Brooklyn ,New York and moved to Little River SC in 2001. He died peacefully at home with his beloved wife Bette Lillis McMorrow and niece Christine Ryder Byrne after a long illness. He is preceded in death by his parents Helen and John and sister Patricia Murray. He is survived by his wife Bette, children Keith, Coleen and Timothy , 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Tim served in the US Navy during the Vietnam era. After moving to SC he joined the American Legion and Sons of the American Legion Post 186 and the VW Post 10804 in Little River where he remained active. He loved golf, fishing and bowling and the NY Jets. He will be missed .
A memorial service will be held Thursday May 16, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, North Myrtle Beach.
