John Thomas “Jack” Stephan, 72, died Monday, December 11, 2017 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Born on November 21, 1945, he was the son of the late John and Theresa Alexander Stephan of Trenton, NJ.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era and retired from the State of NJ, Department of Correction.
Mr. Stephan is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sandra Severs Stephan; two sons, John T. Stephan, Jr. and Eric R. Stephan; sister, Christine Stephan and life partner Kelly Wygal; and two faithful canine companion Golden Retrievers.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 18 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 2 pm in Florence National Cemetery, with military honors.
