Joseph Devon Elliott

Joseph “Joe” Devon Elliott, 77, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on April 5, 2018.

He was born in Whiteville, NC to Lessie Lee Elliott-Coupe’.

He was a USCG licensed captain and owned and operated boats his entire career. He enjoyed his retired years fishing for flounder on the docks of Little River. He was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Little River.

Mr. Elliott is survived by his children, Randy and Cathy Elliott, Ed and Karen Elliott, Fran and Randy Truss and Deborah and Kelly Turner, 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; sister, Rosa Lee and Jim Stadick; and special friend, Sharon Clarke Sigmon. He is predeceased by his mother, Lessie Lee Elliott-Coupe’ and two brothers.

The family would like to thank McLeod Hospice for the excellent care, not only for Joe, but for the entire family.
