

Following high school, Joe joined the United States Army where he proudly served in the Korean War. After his honorable service, he took an interest in the stock market, becoming Broker-in-Charge of the Fortis Brokerage in Washington, DC.
Joe was the dedicated husband of Sandy Giuliani. They married in Sandy’s hometown of Ft. Lauderdale FL on June 23, 1978. Joe loved golfing and the ocean so in 2007, following his retirement, they moved from Baltimore, MD to Little River, SC. They joined Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Joe was also a member of the VFW.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his sons, Michael “Mike” Giuliani, Bret Giuliani (Bethany), Craig Buscher; daughter, Christy Gillespie; brother, Robert Giuliani (Roseann); sisters, Linda Giuliani, and Delores Ruiz (Joe). Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Danny, Joey, Sara, Cody, Carlee, Leo; a great-granddaughter, Kaylin; three nieces and one nephew. Joe was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Linda Giuliani and son-in-law, Robert Gillespie.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Military honors will be rendered following the service.
The family invites friends and family to join them for a lite reception at Filet’s Waterfront, 2120 Sea Mountain Hwy, North Myrtle Beach, SC.
