Joseph C Glinka

On June 17, 1989, Joseph married the love of his life, Sheryl Boylan Glinka. The two were blessed with three children and six beautiful grandchildren. He and Sheryl moved to Little River from Philadelphia in 1996. They were members of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

Joseph was the former owner and operator of Monacello’s Philly Deli, which he purchased from his mother-in-law and father-in-law. He was a avid sports fan and remained faithful to the Phillies and Eagles.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Sheryl, are his sons, Steve Glinka, Ryan Glinka; daughter, Melissa Glinka; grandchildren, Tyler Glinka, Aaliyah Shields, Mya Glinka, Kane Glinka, Kole Glinka, and Gio Diaz; sisters, Donna Ferris, Linda Maui; and brother, Eric Rinier.

A Prayer Service will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Lee Funeral Home, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC 29566, with visitation to follow.
