Joe was a very good friend. Worked together at the "FBI",for a number of years. We enjoyed it when Rene and Joe visited us in Florida a number of years ago.

To Rene and all of Joe's family, my deepest condolences on his passing.  Every time we would run into each other at work, he always had a smile on his face in anticipation of a joke or something funny he was about to tell me.  We shared many laughs at work and even after he retired, we kept on sharing those laughs and communicating by email.

I am saddened of the passing of Joe. I remember his nice nature and his sense of humor. Although I never worked with Joe directly, he always had time to say hello or how you doing to me passing each other in the hallways. I remember Joe being a lottery player like myself hoping to win a nice jackpot. Joe, may your RIP my friends and my prayers to his family

I am so saddened by the passing of Joe.Joe was my best childhood friend.  We shared so many adventures growing up in Arizona SunSites and attending Pearce Elementary as well as Valley Union High School. Joe was a unique character as a child. I remember clearly, Mr. Watson our elementary school teacher breaking the handle off a ping pong paddle over Joe's behind for some crazy thing he had said or done. Joe laughed even though I know it had to hurt like hell. Joe knew he had it coming and was a good sport which made Mr. Watson laugh as well. We drove our motor scooters, rode skate boards and played sports together in elementary school as well as high school. Joe was a very good basketball and baseball player and took winning very seriously. Although we lost touch for a long time as adults, I was so pleased to have him as a Facebook friend these past few years. For some reason,  I have been thinking a lot about Joe and our childhood adventures these past couple months. I had every intention of calling him so we could reminisce about those early days. I'm so, so sorry I didn't. I know we would have laughed and laughed. What a great sense of humor he had. I know his family and friends will miss him dearly. I know I will. My very best childhood memories are all associated with Joe. Please know that my prayers, thoughts and feelings are with his family at this very difficult time. I'm so sincerely sorry. God bless.
