

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Sal Patafio; her sons, Mike Patafio and his wife Kristen, and Mark Patafio; her daughter, Debbie Beam and her husband Jim; and her adored grandchildren, Katelynn Germain, MaryKate Patafio, MichaelAnn Patafio, and AJ Patafio. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Stout and James Stout, and her sister, Joan Stout.
Judy met the love of her life, Sal, at a college mixer while on a blind date at Westchester Community College. The two married on June 11, 1966, in New York, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with years of love.
Throughout her career, Judy worked with Dr. Fred Oliver as an office manager before joining Henry Wurst Corp., where she retired as an HR Manager. After retirement, she and Sal moved to Naples, Florida, and later made North Myrtle Beach their home.
Mimi adored spending time with her friends, family, and especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She often said, “Love you more than tongue can tell,” a phrase that she will always be remembered by.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her. Her beautiful spirit will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC.
