Judy Gaffney

Judy Ann Gaffney, 76, died January 21, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 19, 1941 in Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Mary E. Blevins Whiteaker.

Judy had a great passion for cooking, dancing, playing bridge and spending time in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Most of all, she loved spending time with her husband and children and grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Mrs. Gaffney is survived by her husband of 57 years, Tommy Harmon Gaffney; son, Gary Gaffney; daughters, Lisa Ann Gaffney Blume; Lucy Elizabeth Gaffney; brother, Joe Whiteaker; and grandchildren, Ann Blume, Ansley, Ian, Rory Gaffney and Asa Parker. She is predeceased by her brother, Jimmy Whiteaker.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, January 26 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
