

Karen Wiener, 61, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Born on February 20, 1962, in Bethlehem, PA, Karen was a daughter of the late Ethan Kern and Geraldine (Stubitch) Kern.
In 1980, Karen graduated from Nazareth High School in Nazareth, PA. Following the birth of her son, Karen realized that being a mother was the biggest blessing she could receive, and her daughters brought her even more joy. She dedicated her life to her children loving them unconditionally. Becoming a “Nonni” was the highlight of her life. She was proud of each of their accomplishments and was always their greatest cheerleader. She is survived by her husband Brian Wiener and his two sons, her son Jarrod Eveland and wife and three children, daughter Morgan Schuster, husband and three children, and daughter Autumn Howell and son. She is also survived by her brother, Ethan “Butch” Kern, wife and sister Brenda Kern.
Having been together for 16 years, on August 22, 2014, Karen married the love of her life, Brian Wiener, combining two families into one. They lived in Breiningsville, PA until 2017, when they moved to Longs, SC. Upon their move to Longs, Karen began working in Real Estate where she was a successful agent with RealtyOneGroup, Dockside. Everyone who knew her immediately fell in love with her beautiful personality and treasured their friendships. Her greatest pleasure in life was making sure her family were happy and successful. Karen was so giving of her time and dedication to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the beach, home decorating, shopping, and always had pets. She was a true animal lover, had various animals including multiple dogs and cats in the past, currently having two ragdoll cats whom she was so fund and grateful to have.
The family will receive family/friends for visitation on Thursday, September 21 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Highway 90, Little River, SC 29566. A Memorial Service will be held in Nazareth, PA at Reichel Funeral Home for visitation on Sunday October 1 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
