Born on October 9, 1937, Kathleen lived a life full of spirit, laughter, and fierce love for those around her. She was the devoted wife of the late Frank Pettit, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, love, and family traditions.
Kathleen was the proud mother of Christine Pettit, Kenneth Pettit, Glenn Pettit, and her late son Brett Pettit. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into each of them. She was a cherished grandmother to Christopher Braverman, Corey Braverman, Kyle Pettit, Michaela Phillips, and Sammy Pettit, along with 4 Great Grandkids—each of whom will forever carry her strength, humor, and warmth in their hearts.
Those who knew Kathleen will remember her as a true firecracker of a woman—spirited, bold, and full of life. She had a quick wit, a contagious laugh, and an unmistakable sparkle in her eye. Whether she was sharing stories from the past, offering tough love when it was needed, or lighting up a room with her humor, Kathleen made an impression that will never fade.
Her legacy lives on through her family and the countless memories she created with them. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A private family service will be held to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Kathleen by sharing a story, a laugh, or a simple act of kindness—just as she so often did.
