Kenneth R Eastridge

Born on July 27, 1943 in Galax, Virginia, Ken was the son of Lawrence and Edna Eastridge. Ken worked for the Department of Transportation in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina for over 40 years.

Ken was an avid golfer and relocated to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 1999 to enjoy his retirement, where he took golf lessons and spent countless hours on the golf course.

Ken is survived by his children, Kenneth Ray "Reed' Eastridge, Jr. (Tracy) of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina and D'Ann Eastridge Dickerson (Lance) of Blacksburg, Virginia; spouse, Sarah Cain; grandchildren, Brooks, Jackson and Elyssia Eastridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, along with his former wife Vera Young Eastridge; sister, Elaine Eastridge Montgomery; brother, Don Carroll Eastridge.

In keeping with Ken's wishes, no services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Stephens Episcopal Church in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Agape Hospice staff for their compassionate care and support during Ken's final days.

Ken will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all those who lives he touched.
