Leslie B. Pittges

Born in Salisbury, NC on March 25, 1964, the daughter of Mary V. (Holshouser) Beaver and the late Bobby Joe Beaver, and

sister to Laurel Beaver,

Leslie was a compassionate and consistent source of joy to her daughter, Ainslie Pittges, and her son, Duncan Pittges.

She always found the good in every situation and never backed down from any challenge fighting for her family. Her

Infectious laugh brought joy to all who knew her.

For ten years, Leslie served as a court reporter and an ombudsman for the State of North Carolina.

Nurturing children was Leslie’s life passion. She served as a substitute teacher in San Jose, CA, cared for children at Parent’s Morning Out in Blacksburg, VA, and she contributed to Valorous Kids as a dedicated volunteer spending most Sunday’s pouring into the next generation.

A celebration of life will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Valorous Church, 2100 Fire Tower Rd. Little River.
