I am so sad to learn of Levi's passing.  We have been following him with Willie and then Danielle at Martini's every year for 5 years now.  We go for the month of  March and would go every week to see them.  Also, in October I bring down 70 women golfers and we always went to see him while we were there.  We were happy, rowdy and loved to dance.  I can just see him now smiling at us knowing what a great time we were having. He loved to spur us on when we were up on the dance floor.

We grew to love Levi.  So mild mannered, gentle, and always smiling.  He made us feel like he was enjoying knowing how much we liked him and his musical talent. 

While we know how much he missed Willie, it looked like he and Danielle were a great team and comfortable with each other....we were happy to see Levi happy!

It is with a very heavy heart that I pass on my condolences to his family.  We really loved him! He has been taken away far too early. 
I will remember him always!!!!!

Levi,man you were one of a kind and will be so missed.You were such a great friend to Horace and Diane.I was so fortunate to be able to meet you,who can ever forget those stories or that buffet!Now I'll  never know if you got that instant pot! Mr Levi was always full of smiles, no matter when we seen him he was always a joyful person. He will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Levi was a gentle giant.  Humble and strong.  Provided great memories for so many.

I went down to SOS in 2018 and was invited to a annual party my friends have every year and they had Levi to come and play. We connected off the bat because he had lost a good friend he played with for years and I had lost my wife. I loved the way he carried himself and sang. I could tell he was a Godly man as well. After that party in 2018 I helped him carry his equipment down and we really had a great talk the whole way to his vehicle. 
I thought about Levi alot that year and was looking forward to seeing him again in 2019, and I got to see him at that same party just 3 days before he passed away. I walked up to him and could tell he remembered me from last year. Him and his yound friend that played did a great job and when they got done I wanted to ride the elevator down with him again with his equipment, so I did. I hugged him bye and asked him what he was gonna do now and his last words to me was...I'm going home..
He is home and I'm so blessed to have met him on this earth and when I go home I know I will see him again!

It was around early 90's when I first met Levi.Another ol' friend  whose with Levi now was forming a house band at and for the Landmark  called  ""The Untouchables " It was quite a Big band 9 on stage and 1 on Sound then the manager.Now we played 6 nights a week for year or so.Now as most would know playing that much meant we also practiced at least 4 days a week constantly learning new songs  so we wouldn't go absolutely crazy playing the same stuff every nite.Now with all them hi powered egos and personalities the occasional spat was inevitable putting it mildly.But not only God as my witness but all them beautiful people too could testify to this.Out of all those gigs all them rehearsals the meetings and so on and so forth.NOT ONE TIME I CAN REMEMBER HIM BEING OR GETTING ANGRY OR TALKING BEHIND SOMEONE'S BACK,and that alone in a band well,THE FACT IS,I NEVER HAVE OR DOUBT I EVER WILL MEET SUCH A SOUL LIKE LEVI CRAWFORDS.IT WOULDN'T SURPRISE IN THE LEAST THAT WHEN I GET TO HEAVEN TO SEE HIM LAUGHING BECAUSE HE KNOWS I'M FINDING OUT IN THAT VERY MOMENT FOR THE FIRST TIME THAT I'M MEETING ONE OF GOD'S EARTH ANGELS.I LOVE YOU MY BROTHER....SEE YA SOON.

You will be missed. All those wonderful memories we shared at Martini’s with you smiling n pointing that finger at us. God, we just loved being there with you. Thank you for all the happiness n joy you gave us.
